Deleting an account

Here you can request the deletion of The paW account created in the application or on the site and the personal data associated with it.

Submit a request by e-mail

Write from the address where the account is registered to thepawua@gmail.com. In the subject of the email, write "Deleting The paW account". You do not need to send a password.

Delete individual data, but leave the account

Most of the records, photos, documents and dog profiles you've added can be deleted directly from the app or website. If the required control is not available, write from the registered address to thepawua@gmail.com, specify "Deleting individual The paW data" and describe exactly what you want to delete. The account and the rest of the data will remain active.

What happens next

We will verify that the request came from the account owner. To do this, we can reply to the registered e-mail address. We never ask for a password.
We'll let you know if the dogs you've created are available to other related people before you delete them. Ownership of such a dog will be transferred to one of them, and your access and personal data will be disconnected.
After processing the request, we will send a confirmation by e-mail.

What data is deleted

Your login account, user profile, your connections to other accounts, notification tokens and dog data that belong only to you. Records, photos and documents of a shared dog can remain in its profile for another owner; data that identifies you as a former member must be removed or anonymized.

Files you've saved yourself to your Google Drive or phone remain in your personal storage and are deleted by you individually.

Backups and individual records

Backup history is used to recover from technical failures. The deletion request also covers data related to you in backups; If additional time is required to complete the cleanup, we will let you know in a reply. Reviews left without logging in to the account are not automatically linked to it: to delete such a review, specify the name and a piece of text in the letter.

Google Play subscription

Deleting The paW account does not automatically unsubscribe. Before uninstalling, go to Google Play → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → The paW → Unsubscribe or use the control button on The paW Plus screen in the app. After cancellation, access is valid until the end of the already paid period.

Question about deletion

If you have lost access to your registered mail, write to thepawua@gmail.com from another address and describe the situation. We will tell you how to confirm that the account belongs to you.
