The paW has collected useful catalogs and daily tasks of the dog in one calm, understandable space.
This application appeared thanks to Freya - the future golden retriever, who has not yet had time to cross the threshold of the house, but has already organized a month of active training for us.
We read all about the breed, made shopping lists, dealt with nutrition, vaccinations, education and training. It became clear very quickly: there is a lot of information, there are even more tabs in the browser, and for some reason the human memory does not expand along with the number of open pages.
This is how the idea was born to collect everything important in one place: what to buy, what not to forget, how to prepare the house, what to teach the puppy and how not to get lost when it is already here.
Freya was just getting ready to appear in our lives, and she has already become the inspiration for an entire application. It seems that golden retrievers start to manage people even before they meet.
The real screens of The paW: from choosing a breed to writing about your own dog. Catalogs are available separately, and the personal space stores what is important to you.
The main screen contains information about the daily care of the dog: walks, feeding and training. Here you can see the obtained achievements and you can quickly go to the profile of the dog, the catalog of breeds and the necessary sections.
The Find Breed field searches by primary and alternate name. Next to it is the Filters button: it shows favorites, breeds that are often mentioned for people with allergies, and choose a class - from a couch option to active, hunting, rare or giant breeds. The green "Select by rating" button opens five parameters of character and care. The breed card has a photo, short description, ratings, history of origin and save to favorites.
The section contains articles on choosing a dog, the first days at home and care. Search by topic and selections help you find the advice you need, and the checklist helps you gather everything you need before the puppy arrives.
Search for feed by brand or name. In the filters, you can choose dry or wet food, show the selected one, set the price, age and size of the dog, special needs, protein source and brands. Sorting helps you compare ratings and prices, and ten random feeds are shown at the start. The card contains the composition, characteristics, average price for packing and places of purchase. The catalog works offline.
Switch between vet clinics, grooming and proven hangouts. Search by city, name or address and use filters for services, geolocation, 24-hour surveillance, vet support, reports, cameras, transfer and price availability. The card contains contacts and a route. Using the "Add" button, you can propose a new institution for review by administrators.
Create a dog profile or connect to an already created profile through a linked account. From the list, you can open the card of the desired dog and keep joint records with the people who care for it.
Mark food, water, treats, walks and weight in the dog's card. The calendar collects visits, processes, and custom events, and linked accounts see shared bookmarks and receive enabled notifications.
In "Health", you can add several drugs: for each, specify the name, dose, method of administration, and up to six times a day, or tie the administration to feedings. The notification has a "Medication Given" button and the medical PDF includes the dog's profile, rules and medication history for the selected period, weight and medical events. Separate achievement tabs cover life events, puppy training, adult activities, and clicks in Dog Clicker.
The section has four parts: the dog's first year, additional exercises, adult dog training and the clicker. The first year plan can be viewed for today or all 52 weeks. An uncompleted exercise can be skipped and resumed later; the missed point is not counted towards the weekly score. If you move to the next available week, the previous exercises that have not been completed will be marked as skipped automatically.
The clicker section explains how to mark the correct action, includes a link to the free ThepaW Dog-Clicker, and counts the combined clicks of all associated participants for individual scores.
